The architectural solutions of ETEM, a leading company in aluminium systems, have been integrated into nine projects that were awarded in the national “Building of the Year” 2025 competition. The competition recognizes Bulgaria’s most significant contemporary buildings and promotes best practices in sustainable, high-quality construction.

Projects incorporating ETEM systems were distinguished across a broad spectrum of categories, including culture, education, healthcare, sports, logistics, strategic infrastructure, retail, and green buildings, highlighting the versatility and performance of ETEM aluminum solutions.

Winner – Social Infrastructure: Science, Culture & Education

The restoration of the ancient Roman residence achieves a refined balance between historical authenticity and contemporary construction. ETEM’s E45 and E85 systems enable the discreet integration of modern technology within a protected heritage environment.


The E45 opening system delivers reliable thermal insulation, structural stability, and a slim profile ideal for restoration projects, while the E85 façade system ensures high energy efficiency, durability, and the ability to incorporate large glazed surfaces without compromising the original architectural character.

One of the most technologically advanced facilities in Bulgaria, awarded for its engineering complexity and strict safety requirements.
The E75 opening system provides structural stability and high insulation performance, the E75FD door system enhances safety and protection, while the E1000 system allows the construction of large interior doors with exceptional structural strength — all essential for specialized medical and scientific operations.

Defined by dynamic architecture and extensive storefront glazing, the retail park showcases the capabilities of ETEM façade solutions.
