ETEM JOINED THE COUNCIL ON TALL BUILDINGS AND URBAN HABITAT

In May 2019 ETEM officially joined the international professional association of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat. The CTBUH was founded in 1969 in the US and aims to promote the exchange of up-to-date information on tall buildings around the world through publications, research, events, workshops, web resources, and an extensive network of international representatives.

The membership of ETEM in the Council is part of the company's strategy to meet the specific needs of each market and to offer state-of-the-art system solutions for the most challenging projects.

The company has been developing for years the portfolio of systems for high rise buildings, that are already successfully installed in projects worldwide.

Especially in Bulgaria, ETEM has already couple of referent high rise buildings with a height more that 100 m.

One of the latest projects of the company is the project Sky Fort in Sofia. The skyscraper will be the second building of the Sofia Capital City complex and will be 202 meters high. The modular facade E99, ventilated facade systems and systems for windows and doors will be installed in the project that is currently under construction.

The ETEM's multidisciplinary experts will also be actively involved in the scientific work of the CTBUH. In the Council are exchanging their experience and useful practices for the design of skyscrapers more than 2 million professionals, including entrepreneurs, financiers, architects, engineers, designers of urban plans, suppliers and other specialists whose work is related to the creation of sustainable cities.

According to the latest CTBUH data, there are currently 133 ultra-high skyscrapers over 300 meters in the world. Three-quarters of them are built over the last 10 years, and over the next few years will be built by the same group another 20, and within a year or two, there will be another 7 ultra-high buildings over 420 meters.
